The CPS's "Save As" feature allows any codeplug that is read from the radio, or from a codeplug file, to be saved to any accessible redundant-backup device.

No matter the technique used for archiving or "backing-up" of codeplug data, a frequent and consistent plan must be implemented by the customer to ensure a full recovery in the case of a catastrophic failure of the system where the CPS is installed. |
